Hey LA folks - my friend Tracey A. put out the following request today (Im hoping someone can help her with the connections she needs): Community Partners, the non-profit that VFF falls under, and Syracuse University teamed up to pair students working on their senior thesis project with a 501(c)(3) to create two 30-60 second PSAs. The student assigned to The Valley Film Festival, Alexa Lesnewich, is awesome and wants to go into Sports Marketing after she graduates. In the meantime, shes stuck with me! Alexa came up with a safe idea & one that is totally out there, which requires some pretty serious artists saying some really silly lines. Well, theyre not that silly, but would sound silly coming from this group of artists. This is where you come in. If you know (or know someone who knows someone who knows): John Williams Kevin Spacey Bryan Cranston Joseph Gordon-Levitt Nick Cassavetes Elizabeth McGovern Paul Thomas Anderson Tim Burton ...or any other recognizable talent that grew up/attended high school/currently lives in The Valley, I would be most grateful if you would facilitate an introduction or simply ask on our behalf. (Well provide you with the details to share.) Were looking for 3(+) artists to film themselves saying anywhere from 1 to 9 words.Wed provide the words to choose from and a quick video made with their phone is all were asking for.
