Hey SPFX buddies, Finished making, applying and testing a new flat mould werewolf scratch silicone prosthetic. I am sorry to keep posting lots of gory wound effects but it is what I am studying at the moment before moving onto fantasy style prosthetics :) . I wore the piece for around 14 hours to see how the edges handled a more vigorous test, to see how the colours held up with regards to costume contamination and to check for any other adverse reactions to the skin as mine is already super sensitive. I wore it overnight in bed, during working out which got a few strange looks afterwards in the shower and at work all day to freak people out...lol.... :p Overall I was pretty chuffed with the final result but was mega happy at the durability of the piece and limited contamination onto the clothing after sleeping in it and sweating. it came off super easy with Pro clean once I could peel up an edge..... Found out if you sculpt your inside of the wound with pretty deep fibres it really pops out and looks ultra fibrous when you apply your blood and gives you some nice darker pockets for added depth. I also uses a small flat paint brush this time instead of a cotton bud to melt away the flashing which I much preferred as it held less acetone and didnt leak as far down the flashing around the appliance.... :) I have made a couple of pictures now for my digital portfolio below so please let me know what you think and if the prosthetic, painting or portfolio piccies could be improved it would be hugely appreciated.....thanks guys :)......happy days!!!
