The Paul Lynde Halloween Special. Teeth clinched, head shaking wide eyes and that chuckle - Im Paul Lynde because someone has to be... If you have time to take a look at this #PaulLynde Halloween Special,DO. It is a throwback to when comedians were silly funny, when stars did it all and did it with class (Florence Henderson is amazing), when the jokes were just racy enough (for you LA kids, at 25 minutes in #Halloweenie gets a shout out years before it was in vogue), when the variety show ruled the world, and the make-up clad rockband KISS broke all of our devil worshiping hearts with the utterance of one name - BETH. This special is super fun and worth a look. The closing number Disco Baby is nothing more than brilliant. I dont say this because I am a baby of the 70s and I loved the TV then as much as I do now, but I say this because good-ole clean spooktaculars like this one are a thing of the past. (Or maybe not - Neal patrick harris has been given a pass to host his own variety show. Could not come at a better time. The variety show need its resurrection and Mr. Harris is the talent that can make it happen) Give Paul and friends a little bit of your time. Smile a little, laugh a little and ENJOY A LOT.
