Hey Team!!! Great race today!!!! Good way to end the season by winning champagne again and enjoy the nice weather at Rawdon! I just want to say a few words to you all. First of all, I would like to thank all of you who decided to join dragon boating and to give your best efforts to show up to practices and to competitions. Dragon boating is a team sport and you need a lot of hard works to do well at it, and you’ve all done that. This year we have a very new team and we all learned and progressed together and I saw a big improvement from all of you. I’m very proud of everyone and I believe that we have all made great friends for life and become part of the dragon boat family! Second of all, I would like to thank Raymond Quach, Xue Ying and Joe Yip for their dedication to the team and to their guidance. They were all great teachers and mentors for all of us and we love you all. To my co-captains: Hagop Sarian and Eric Liou (He was always there…spiritually), WE DID IT HAHA!! This year was my first year to captain a team, it was a great experience and an honor for me, and I want to thank all of you to tolerate me for the whole summer and I hope that I didn’t screw up too bad. I hope that all of you love the sport and wish to come back next year or even for the winter indoor season (I will send you guys a email later.) Love you all!!! -Hao :)
