Hey There Little Birds. I just wanted to wish everyone a happy - TopicsExpress

Hey There Little Birds. I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and hopefully wonderful 2015. 2014 was a challenging year for me, but one of the highlights was Sing Out of Darkness. We put on 11 shows, raised close to $2,000 for the charities we support, and I walked 18 miles through a rainy Seattle Night to help raise awareness and resources for Suicide Prevention. I couldnt have done it without your support. I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. 2014 was also a year of experimentation. I was able to broaden the reach of Sing Out by having radio shows on Mutiny Radio (SF). I expanded the format to include Comedy. I also expanded the focus from helping people in crisis to preventing future long-term trauma and stress by supporting Project Night Night. Sing Out of Darkness will continue in the new year. Ive been taking some time to perform some self-care for me. As much as I love Sing Out, there are other aspects of my life that need to be solid in order for Sing Out to continue. I faced some health issues during 2014 that needed my focus. I also faced some career transitions that I needed to get locked down as well. Both of these items have been addressed, and Im much healthier and happier as a result. We will have shows in 2015. I would very much like to continue the radio broadcasts at MutinyRadioSF to keep these shows accessible to all areas. I do plan to support the walk in Boston on June 27th. We may not have the same volume or the same frequency of shows. My hope is that when we have the shows, they will make a bigger impact. We will continue to infuse comedy & music with the shows. I do hope to experiment and bring in other forms into the shows. In fact, I met a lovely dancer and for those in the Bay Area, we may have our first Sing, Laugh, & Dance Out of Darkness Show :) Stay tuned. Well have more announcements in the spring. With that, Mayhem out --
