Hey all - Dont forget to wear something green today. Happy St. Patricks Day laddies and lassies. The photo was taken in one of Irelands Magdalen Asylums which ran from 1765 to 1996. Fallen women were enslaved doing laundry for prisons and other institutions. Its staggering that they operated (by four orders of Catholic nuns) for so late into the twentieth century. We think its proof-positive that unless women are looking out for other women, no-one else is. Well wash dry and fold a load of laundry today for $24 if you mention this post. And yes well pay the staff too! Enjoy the day everyone. :)
