Hey all! I come here on hands and knees with a plea. August 30th, weve set up the biggest show weve ever managed to put together. A day long music festival. 2 stages, 24 acts. Weve got almost every local promoter agency helping and a string of local acts on it, as well as several regionals. After the recent closures of Tracys and the Columbia, we are starting to notice that our music scene is in danger of losing exposure. We are hoping to use this event to introduce new people to the scene, as well as introduce those who may be only familiar with one aspect of it (whether that be metal, hardcore, hip hop, EDM, etc) to the others. However, in order to do that, we need your help. We need a giant event, a woodstock of our own, something the media cant ignore, to make them take an interest in what we all work so hard to acheive. All of you, collectively; the CNY Music Scene itself. Your band may not be on this show. You may not know whos spinning this event. But as a community that is so passionate, that encompasses so much talented, and that is so under appreciated and unacknowledged by the locals, this could be a chance to get some real publicity and exposure for us all.
