Hey all, Ive been getting a lot of messages about the set up of this shindig so heres a couple pointers: Tentative location of this party is shown in the attached photo(I will be out there early to make the final call based on any overnighters). We will not be in front of the breakwaters or the main beach as to allow the regular weekend and random boaters to use this area as it is usually available. If you want to tie up to your regular group of boats, I suggest you meet at the 6 knot marker coming into HMI and come in together. This will be much easier then trying to squeeze you in to boats already dug in. Obviously Im no authority on the water so people can anchor and tie up where they want. This is our 9th year throwing these parties and weve seen what works and what doesnt so Id just ask that if anyone unfamiliar with this group wants to tie up, they work with us to ensure to most enjoyable experience for all.
