Hey everybody! Voting for your Peel Student Trustee takes place tomorrow (depending on your school)! I would LOVE to be elected as South Peels Student Trustee for the 2014-2015 school year! Communication: NON-STOP communication between the Peel District School Board and YOU- the students of Peel! Know about the latest events in the community, how to get involved, etc... This will be done with Social Media, and going from school to school and talking with the SACs and other clubs of each school! 2. Student Success: More info-sessions about Post-Secondary options. Many ways for students to learn new skills with optional Workshops- my plan is to make these happen at different locations each time, so that a variety of students can attend! I also want to hold an event for students to talk to the alumni of different regional programs to see how theyve benefited from that particular program, and to advice to students in high school. 3. Unity: In Peel, were one big family, and together we will continue to make each other feel respected, and at home, and continue to take steps to stop bullying at schools by having events to raise awareness. Well have motivational speakers to get our students motivated! Well also have lots of FUN events that happen at different locations! Ill make sure you LOVE going to school.
