Hey everyone, I try and regularly clean up around the cafe... in the last few months while cleaning Ive found syringes, used condoms & bullets. This morning theres a ridiculous amount of rubbish everywhere. The messed up thing is your kids walk over this rubbish here everyday. We pay tax to council for them to send someone out to clean our streets. So we can call them up to come and clean it but it doesnt really solve the problem and I think theres a better solution. When I do a really thorough clean near the bus stop Ive found it stays clean for a while because people dont want to dirty something thats already clean. Its like their level of respect has lifted because I respected it enough to clean it. If enough of us do that-if enough of us love our streets enough then well be proud to keep them free of syringes and other filth. Ive spoken to some of my mates down at the caravan park and were gonna have a little working bee together to clean up around here. Its a good way for us to come together and we can have a sausage sizzle afterwards and Cup From Above will provide free coffees for everyone that helps. Let me know if you want to help!
