Hey everyone!!! We need more peeps signed up on our team!!! Everyone please push to get one more person this week!!! The CCC10K has donated 100 Bibs to HAF so that the first 100 people to register as a HAF charity runner can do so for FREE with a commitment to raise $200 by April 19, 2014. Please help us find people to join our team for this fun day and help HAF continue to fulfill our mission which is to improve the quality of life and assist persons affected by a terminal illness in hospice by providing education, advocacy and support services. Unlike most service organizations, HAF is 100% volunteer staffed with no overhead expenses. HAF has been able to help defray funeral costs for many families, help uninsured patients get the medication and equipment they need to have the best quality of life and help honor final wishes of patients and their families. This could be a great opportunity to advertise for you as well, because we will have an expo booth April 17-18, 2014 where promotional products can be given away and/or sold. Perks of being a charity runner/walker:• Free entry to race with agreement to at least $200 in donations for HAF• Unique charity bib # that includes your first name (if registered before 3.14.14)• T-shirt distinguishing you as a charity runner/walker• Pre & Post race day gathering spots with private restrooms and refreshments on race day Below are the steps to become an official charity runner! STEP ONE Register for the CCC10K at ccc10k.eventbrite • Click on RUN FOR CHARITY • Choose Hospice Associates Foundation, fill out the registration and then hit submit STEP TWO Create your fundraising page at: crowdrise/CrescentCityClassic• Remember a minimum of $200 must be raised for HAF if you utilize the free registration as a charity runner/walker!
