Hey everyone, for those following the story of Sweety and her 10 pups, here is the update. Sweety, her name is now Mamma Jazzy. Short for Jasmine, she seems to respond to it so it fits! Shes super sweet. Honestly, the sweetest dog Ive ever met. She has ZERO aggression whatsoever. She has shown no signs of aggression with food, other animals, people, her puppies being handled etc. All she does is cowers, even if youre petting her she is cowering. She will take food from your hand, but wont eat it. Last night I left her with a bowl of dog food mixed with some goulash.. this morning it was demolished. So thats a good sign! If you or anyone you know would be interested in giving her a furever home once the puppies have all left home, please do not hesitate to let me know! Id love if you could meet her and build up a relationship with her before you take her home. Were going to be looking for someone who has experience with abused dogs, possibly someone a little older, the less animals the better. She is fine with them, Id just like her to get more one on one. She has no problem with children, but shes just so skittish small children running around would make her so anxious shed never be comfortable in her own home. The puppies, there are 6 males, and 4 females! They look as if theyll have medium length hair, maybe some fluffy ones! They mostly have German Shepherd colors, but well see how that changes as they age! 2 of the puppies eyes have already started opening. Also, it appears that 1 female has 5 toes on both her back feet. 1 male, has 5 toes on ONE of his back feet. It honestly looks as if theyre going to fall off, however. Theyve either been snipped, broke, something. So were going to see what we can do about that! There will be a small rehoming fee for these guys, it wont be a stupid amount, just enough to cover shots, and wormer for both the pups and Jazzy. Id also like to be able to pay to get Jazzy fixed before she goes to her new home. If youre interested, or know someone who is, please get a hold of me so I can keep track of which puppies will have homes and which still need homes.
