Hey facebook friends and family... Ive started a fan page for my surfing career, my skating and everything else that I consider my art. Joey Hawkins/Surfer is the page name (I know.... gay right???) but whatever. It has now become the world of social media and I need to get on the bandwagon of self promotion.... no matter how lame it seems to me. I will be making regular postings there about my surfing and skating and, art projects and so forth... also, for my close friends Ill have some very interesting offers for some very new style surf lessons for your children among many other very exciting ideas that Ive been working on. I should have more detailed information coming soon.... so stay tuned. Please feel free to share the page with your friends if you like because right now I could really use the help getting the word out there. My close friends can message me directly on my regular facebook page but people who I am meeting for the first time should contact me here on the fanpage first. The phone number for this as a business just isnt going public at this point, because I honestly cant say that this is a business. Its something a little more involved than that and it has required years of experience and trial and error, and it involves a lot more than just teaching kids how to surf. Sorry, but this how the screening process works for me right now and its how I like to pick the students that I believe will be engaging at the level that I want to working with them at. So, please take a minute and like my page and share it with any friends who might have kids who wanna learn how to surf... and follow my journey thru this. To find out about the other things youre just gonna have to contact me and Ill explain it from there. Ill be removing most of of the general public from my personal facebook page as the weeks go by, eventually having just my immediate family on there.
