Hey fb friends and family sorry havent been around for awhile. But like they say on The Color Purple? Im not Dead! Anyway, as you can see my second grandson arrived on Dec 23 at 3am in the morning. He weighed in at 5lbs and 13 oz. And to my sisters here on fb, we all know that childbirth aint no joke, but to actually be a witness to seeing it all is a miracle. Yep I was there helping to bring my grandson into the world. 16 hours of labor from the very beginning to the very end. Baby Nicholas mama was a trooper though, even though her nose was stuffy and she couldn t breathe to breathe, she pushed him out! I was holding up her elbow and her head and her Auntie Renee was holding up her thighs. Im so glad her Auntie was there because Yep I suddenly got sick on the stomach and had to leave. 20 minutes later, Nicky was here. So you guys dont feel bad when your stomach starts turning and churning as you watch your child come into the world! But at least I didnt fall out!
