Hey friends: I dont know how many of you are Wildblue customers, but since signing with this company I have experienced nothing but trouble. Take a warning, if you use your internet for more than facebook and email. This is NOT the company for you. Living where we do, we dont have a whole lot of choices. If anyone knows of an alternative, I am desperate. I turned them in to the Attorney General and the BBB and they cant help because Wildblue makes you sign a contract agreeing to a "fair usage" policy. We explained what we wanted in an internet service and were assured that we couldnt possibly use our monthly allottment. We had our speeds slowed within a week. Since we started with Wildblue five years ago, we have been slowed repeatedly. Since upgrading to excede, which was supposed to be better, we have not gone a single month without having our speeds slowed. Now since reporting them, we have been slowed to less than dial up speeds for most of the day and until like around this hour. Unless or until we get some alternative on this road, we are stuck using a company that uses a "fair usage" policy to force you to either upgrade, or buy more usage time. Im not just ranting. This is all too real.
