Hey, friends & family on FB, about an hour ago received a phone call from the nurse at my cancer center concerning the CT scans I had last Tuesday. She thought I would like to hear this news now rather than wait for my consultation next Thursday. No indication of any recurrence of cancer in bronchial system & lungs, lymph nodes shrunken to normal size, no visible involvement to any vital organs, the spot on my right kidney that has been there for about two years is still there but has shown no movement or growth since initial discovery (appears to be nothing but a benign cyst), will require systematic monitoring but all indications at this time are that I will not require further chemo treatments. Am scheduled for two more intravenous treatments to help my immune system recover. Anyone familiar with chemo knows what three years of treatments can do to your body, your mind, & your immune system. Here I sit with tears of gratitude rolling down my cheeks from thinking of the love & blessings my Lord has bestowed on me, the strength He has given me, & the opportunity to witness for Him to the work He has done in my life. Maybe in time my life will return to normal though right now am not sure what that will be. Thank you dear God for every day you give to me, my life is in your hands. Praise & worship to you Oh Holy God.
