Hey friends, myself and a couple of others created a concept for social cooking for firefighters at university, we are after some feedback. The MITIS is a concept product responding to an issue where fire fighters are less likely to cook meals at the station due to not knowing when the alarm to be called out will sound. The MITIS is an innovative kitchen which detects how many people are cooking and assists that person (s). The tables are able to be pulled apart or together to maximise engagement with others or assist in micromanagement. For example say five fire fighters are cooking steak and roast vegetables for the station, the alarm goes off and four leave. This leaves five independent jobs in the hands of one person, this is when MITIS steps in to assist. Whether its timing, alerting that something needs attention or preventing overcooking or burning, MITIS is there to help. This is aimed at fire fighters but of course, the future of this product could see commercial and residential opportunities.
