Hey gang!!! So we only have until Nov 15 to collect canned fruit for Paxs preschool food drive. Please help!!! Ill come and get them if you live in CO. This isnt as much about his class winning a fun clown party, as it is helping working families who are struggling to sit down and have a Thanksgiving dinner without the stress of do we pay a bill or have turkey?. If youve ever been food insecure, you know how hard it is. Now imagine adding kids into that mix. The majority of the people receiving these food donations are so much like you and me, or possibly not like but are you and me - working families who have fallen into a difficult time. You never know what your neighbor is dealing with. The situational poetry of life can derail a best laid plan without warning. Please help. Please take 99 cents and grab a can of fruit off your grocery shelf. It may mean more to someone than you can possibly imagine.
