Hey guys---I have had very minimal interest in Zena (the kitty with the busted leg) since I posted that Mara cant take her. There are a few things that I want to touch base on for any other people who are interested in giving Zena a good home. 1: As of right now, Zena does not need any kind of special medical attention for her leg. She does walk with a limp, but she uses the leg like any other kitten would. That does not mean that some point in time down the road that there wont be complications....expensive complications. I will always be available to help with anything that may arise with Zena, but there is only so much that I can do. So anyone interested needs to keep the financial responsibility in mind. 2: There is not an adoption fee for Zena, but she WILL be spayed before going to her new home, and the new adopter will be responsible for those fees. I want to make very sure that the home she is going to can afford to take care of her correctly, and spaying her is not up for discussion. 3: Zena is like any other kitten and loves to play...she knocks things over, makes a mess and sometimes she does bite a little too hard. You have to be able to handle a rowdy little cat and not decide you dont want her after a couple weeks because she is too rough. 4: Zena is her own cat, if she wants you to pet her she will ask...if you try and she doesnt want it, you will be given an evil look and she moves away. If you press the issue, she does bite to get her point across. Because of that, Im not sure that a home with small children would be ideal, but if you have children that respect and know how to act with animals then Im sure we can try it out. 4: If you adopt Zena and for ANY reason cant keep her, she will not be rehomed, given away, sold, taken to a shelter or anything other than coming back to me...she HAS to be brought back to me. This is non negotiable and a contract stating such will be signed if necessary. I am fully aware that some of you might think I am being over protective of just a cat, but I have watched this baby grow, I saw her blossom from a tiny, feral kitten who should have died into a beautiful young cat that is so full of life it is overwhelming (especially at 3 in the morning). These are the stipulations to take Zena home, and they will not change. If you have any interest in taking this baby home, please dont hesitate to message me and voice any questions or concerns you may have!
