Hey guys question. Ive rehabbed a lot of my cats upon getting them from thinness for years, but my methods arent working this time. My cat Bob is a purebred Maine Coon that I got from a neighbor and while I was gone for two months he got sick. My husband was with him, so its not like I abandoned him. Well he has two infected teeth and I already spoke with my vet and will be taking at the end of next month since it will cost me $1000 total to get him fixed up and out of pain. Till then I wanted to get his weight up and Ive been home almost four weeks now and his weight still hasnt jetted up like I hoped. Ive had him on double food every day, kitten chow in the AM and a large friskies wet can in the PM. I chose these cause of the high calorie content, but recently he doesnt even want them. I need help on what to give him. Does anyone know what methods they used on a cat with teeth problems and weight loss? What foods did you guys use to help pack on the weight again? Any and all recommendations are very welcome! My poor boy needs all the help he can get!
