Hey guys, so I wanna take a moment to talk about the thing we all dread... EXERCISE. Ill get a little personal for a second. A little over 6 months ago, I fell (because Im a klutz) and fractured my wrist. Since most exercise machines and workout programs involve wrist movement, I thought I was screwed. HOWEVER, that didnt stop me. I started looking for other ways to burn calories. I grabbed a pedometer and started tracking my steps and distance and I would find ways to increase it each day: - taking the stairs instead of the elevator - parking farther away - if I was standing, I would try to take steps side to side - when straightening up or putting away laundry, carry fewer items to make more trips back and fourth - and, of course, simply going for a walk If youre not ready for an intense routine or just simply dont have a lot of time to set aside for a workout, I HIGHLY recommend getting a pedometer (you can get them pretty cheap if you dont need a lot of bells and whistles) and see where you can add some movement in your day. Its recommended to walk 8,000-10,000 steps each day, but feel free to just start with improving on what you usually walk and push yourself every day to walk a little bit more until you can get to that threshold. #fitness #walking #youcandothis #beachbodycoach
