Hey guys what anime films and other animation films do you want to see this year? Please post your suggestions and feel free to link trailers. We submit our first order next week^^ In regards to anime weve got a bunch of the classics - Some Satoshi Kon films, Ghost in the Shell films, Some Ghibli films, and a bunch more. But weve maybe neglected anime last couple of years. Any anime films you want to see? I know a few people are keen for the Neon genesis Evangelion recent films. Im personally interested in seeing Expelled from paradise (2014), Miyazakis The Wind Rises(2014), Giovanis Island (2014) and a lot of Ghibli and cyberpunk classics. I have a soft spot for My neighbor Totoro haha and I want to watch it! Director wise I need to see Makoto Shinkai films namely 5 Centimeters per second (2007) and children who chase lost voices(2011). Out there anime wise Im itnerested in Gyo:Fish attack (2012) and colourful (2010) Non Japanese or USA wise i want to see Chico and Rita (2010) a Spanish language animation set in 1940s Havana, Frances Persepolis (2007) based on a popular autobiographical graphical novel and Israeli film The Congress (2014) by the same director of Waltz with Bashir (2008). Theres a lot more animated films but Im struggling to think right now. Hollywood wise well theres a lot.Although the chances of people having watched them too much etc is high so I think alternative animated films will be cool. maybe films like Richard Linklaters Waking Life (2001) and A Scanner Darkly (2006)
