Hey , hey , hey I have been clean and sober for 360 days !! Its another beautiful day here in the bvd ..I need to say something this morning so please listen. ..I bleed Red White and Blue ...I was born,bred and raised an Oglethorpe County Patriot... .my kids are being raised Oglethorpe County Patriots...I have always given as much , if not more of my time and services to the school system as anyone I know...not for money , not for attention or recognition..but because I love it !! I was questioned yesterday about why I am unhappy with our Administration. .and basically suggested that I should shut up and quit voicing my disdain for certain members of it ...it was also suggested that I should maybe send my kids elsewhere to school ACS or the Academy if our facilities didnt meet my standards!! If you do not like the fact that I want better facilities, that I think we need lights on our baseball and softball fields , that our gym and football facilities are both dumps and are long long overdue to be redone ...if you cant handle me voicing that publicly I want better for my kids , your kids and our county..if you cant handle me saying our schools are grossly mis managed..if you cant handle this DEFRIEND ME PLEASE !!! yes I do rant occasionally but 99% of the time my posts are upbeat and I have fought my tail off this past year to become a better person ....Soooo if you want to voice your opinion ..I would love to hear it ...but dont tell me all I do is rant and put down the OC...maybe if more people actually voiced there opinion publicly...our school system and County as a whole wouldnt be stuck in a time warp and run things like its 1972 !!!
