Hey, so at our meeting tonight we decided to hold a bake sale to raise funds for the Democratic Union Party (PYD), a progressive Syrian-Kurdish political party that supports the Kurdish forces resisting ISIS in Syria. (Please someone correct if Im butchering the facts here. I didnt know about this until tonight.) There are probably much better sources, but heres their wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Union_Party_(Syria) Anyway, were going to bake on Friday night at 7 pm in the HRC, and Im going to buy the ingredients, so send me the recipes youd like to bake if you plan to attend.
