Hey there everyone. An update on my crazy health.... I have an enzyme deficiency that is most common in men, people of African American, Jewish , or Mediterranean descent. None of which qualifies me but ok. It is called G6PD. If you ingest certain medications or foods it causes hemolysis or destruction of red blood cells causing anemia. It is a lifelong disease that normally has peaks and valleys, meaning you get better on your own. This is only about 1/4 of my issues. I will be having a second bone marrow biopsy next week. And after 110 lb weight loss and being severely malnutritioned I will be having a second surgery to try and increase the absorption of the foods I am eating. One question answered several more still to be determined. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and help given !! Especially to my wonderful husband for constant caring, cooking, dishes, shopping, and late night runs to 7-11 for all those strange cravings!!! What an awesome man
