Hey you sitting there! Want to work out with me? :) These videos were originally put together for students taking my health courses. As a teacher, I realize how much time students of any age spend sitting in desks. A full school or work day of sitting can result in tight and underused muscles. When the body doesnt work the way nature intended, it not only loses tone, it becomes weak, unaligned, and more susceptible to injury and illness. We can all agree that sitting 8-12 hours in school desks, office chairs, and cubicles is not what nature intended for our bodies. One solution is to simply move more. Take frequent breaks from sitting, and work those tight and underused muscles. Today we crawl, lift, and play to reawaken the muscles.
