Hi A record breaking Halloween on the cards with 21c possible in the south east tomorrow! A bit blustery if youre off out on a broomstick though... Today is a mild one for pretty much everywhere, with some murky mist and plenty of cloud around, and some rain scattered over Scotland and N Ireland too. The warm front is over Scotland now, and the mild air is covering the UK and Ireland. The showers over Scotland will become confined to the far north and western areas later today and the south and east of England should see some bright spells, with the north east of Scotland getting some glimpses of the sun too. Western areas, including Ireland, N Ireland, Wales and England could see some drizzly showers this afternoon. Tonight the mild southerly wind picks up over western areas, bringing rain to Ireland, N Ireland and western Scotland, maybe some more patchy showers over western hills of England and Wales. Itll also be very mild, 12-15c, which is what wed expect for daytime maximums this time of year. That wind will hang around through Friday, with the clouds and rain confined to N Ireland and the north and west of Scotland, but still mild here at 16c. Much of England and Wales will see decent spells of sunshine, and the south east of England could hit 21c locally, a record breaker. If you are out Trick or Treating, or Guising tomorrow, everywhere should have a dry spell, but more rain is heading in for western areas later. Watch than wind though, it could blow your ghoulies away :-) Ian
