Hi All, Just wanted to post some information regarding next week so everyone has got time to get organised. We plan on being parked somewhere around Pen Y Ghent Cafe from 7.15am. Make sure youve got change to park all day. There is a field just past the car park , over the bridge that should be open to park. Im needed to hand out CLDF bands, team Freddie head bands and Id like to get a group photo before we set off. So if I could ask everyone to be at the Cafe for 7.30am. We will be leaving from the Cafe at 7.45am Prompt. With everybody I hope! If your not there for that time we will have to start without you. (Sorry but theres 42 people) please make sure your all ready to go at that time. If your wanting to register your time officially and get the certificate etc, please read all the link below that Andrew booth posted last week and make sure your fully aware of what to do. My parents are going to be at Whernside & then again at the pub before Ingleborough with a selection of sandwiches, bananas, mars bars, tea/coffee and bottled water for the team. You need to cater for yourself from the start, up Pen Y Ghent and to there first point. This has been planned so you dont have to carry 12 hours worth of food and water around the full walk. Also you can get rid of your rubbish at each point. Those will be our designated stops but if you think you need one between these then obviously thats up to you! Theres no way were all going to stick together throughout the 25 miles and 3 peaks. Everyone has to walk at the own comfort and pace, some people are doing it for personal goals, timings etc. Im pretty certain though that even with gaps there will always be a member of team Freddie to follow in front so everyone knows where to head. (Thats going on previous practice runs) Lastly thank you to you all for taking part in this challenge and for raising the money and awareness you all have. £20,000 is in touching distance (were at £19,185.00) I know some people are worried about being at the back of the group but for me, this isnt a competition. There isnt a winner if your first person to finish or a loser if your the last. Were in this together and everyones a winner for taking the time, dedication and commitment for being part of #teamfreddiejack. So again, Thank You, thank you, thank you.
