Hi Everyone ….wanted to let you know that Kevin had his PET scan today as well as his regular appointment at the clinic. It really makes a long day for him and he is really tired. Thankful that he feels well and had a good week back at work….but it does wear him out. The PET scan went well and he will receive results from that on Tuesday. We would love your prayers for a good report…no glow spots. His counts have been good but this waiting game is tough. Please pray for peace of mind and continued confidence in all that God is doing. We are thankful….and nervous. You know what I mean. The doc took Kev off all his anti-rejection medication today. This means it’s show time for Matt’s stem cells to take charge. It could also mean more serious GVHD (graft versus host disease). But it is the key to remission. Pray for minimal GVHD symptoms and great success of MCKCA (Matt’s Cells Kick Cancer’s A$$). It’s time!! We just are all so very thankful that our awesome God knows what needs to be done and is ABLE to do it. Thank you for praying for Kristin, Bri, and Claire….they keep Kev fighting….he loves them so.
