Hi Folks, Oh how I wish daylight savings meant spring weather - TopicsExpress

Hi Folks, Oh how I wish daylight savings meant spring weather too. But, it’s right around the corner and I know this because I am planning for our move outdoors on May 7th. It will be nice to have the parking lot and walk ways filled with natural light – even more reason to traipse out to Share and visit FOTS this Wednesday. Let’s just ignore that “possible snow” in the forecast : ) Answer Time: Why do we only sell between certain hours? Well, that involves several answers but mainly it is because the borough allows FOTS to sell as a farmers market on Wednesdays between 3:00 and 7:00. Another reason is that if takes much controlled organization to get 25 vendors unloaded and set up in 90 minutes – it is a hazard walking around the market dodging carts. It also would not be fair if those that are assigned an early unloading time could sell items before the later arriving farmers were even set up and ready to go. Everyone is working to be ready when that bell rings at 3:00. So, if you think of us as any other store… (I know we are better than that) then our doors open at 3:00 and a smiling face is ready to serve you!
