Hi Guys . First i want to apologize for my English. I have some doubts about Biztalk. I have read many articles but still feel confused about the issue . Below what I did so far , please correct me if Im wrong. And if anyone have some article or book of the issue to indicate a appreciate that. I always had in mind to use webservices and wcf to ennable communication between distinct applications, but in my study about biztalk , I noticed that it has many features and facilities , but would not be feasible for an application where the sole function would be to exchange some data . - Wattages in Biztalk : - Queuing requests . - Processing and data processing. ( As I understand biztalk does most of these functions automatically , without writing code ) - Integration with Sharepoint - Manages requests and threads on different servers , helping performace . - Works with the messaging system. - Logs all transactions and traffic to the database , allowing the generation of reports and even rollback . - Disadvantages Biztalk : - High cost . - High implementation time . - Demand for staff to manage . Although the Biztalk has all these functions, which are great in cases that require high performance and integration between multiple servers and different applications, in a small case where only two applications will transfer data, I do not see why applying such a robust tool in such a simple case.
