Hi I am looking for advice or support my friend and I are not staying silent about our thoughts and feelings about the school systems and protocols for bullying and abuse....... They dont seem to care anymore??????? My children were put on a list another kid wrote of ppl he wanted to kill and their school didnt even acknowledge a problem there........ My good friends 13 yr old son was bullied and abused and no protection when he went to teacher and the principal and the final straw was when his bullies pushed him down a flight of stairs and his school turned a blind eye :( he committed suicide October 17 this yrs :( his mom is torn to pieces as she knew there was bullying but everytime she contacted the school they would tell her its being delt with......... If she had known they were doing nothing she prolly would have done the same thing I did ....... Removed him from the system....... I have 3 loving caring BRILLIANT children that were terrified that the boy was gonna break into our house and kill them so knowing that all schools are run by the same rules and school board...... We are now homeschooling and to be honest I SHOULD have done it a loooong time ago........... So if anyone has and advice on how to have our voices heard louder and heard by the ones who is in charge of making changes it would be very much appriciated......... As well if anyone knows of any organizations that can help my friend out she was unable to continue working as I would not be capable either if it were one of my children I still can barely see what Im typing through the tears in my eyes :( she is facing eviction and hydro is threatening disconnection..... Theres gotta be somewhere that help out familys who lose a loved one so traumatically??????????? I am NOT asking for money from any individule in this group simply suggestions, advice, direction or connections Thank you in advance for those who are able to help find the necessary resources :)
