Hi, I am posting an improved copy of a message I sent out about 2 weeks ago, and will send out again in the near future. I sent it to the Dalai Lamas organization and to 7 world class psychologists and neuroscientists. (And no, I have not received an answer back and I dont expect to any time soon). I know some of our members have some knowledge in this area and may find it interesting. It is not light reading but I believe some people, if they care to try, will get the gist of it with much effort (I dont believe in dumbing things down) In effect I am offering scientific proof that you, as a self, are truly one of two experiencing-self-Is in one of two consciousnesses in one of your two thinking-minds. Your two brain hemispheres each have a pair of minds with one thinking mind (One of which is where you are physically located) and one emotional mind. Thus you have 4 minds in total. This message will also tell members why I think I have great knowledge about many subjects. Hi, this is the second time I have sent this message to the Dalai Lama, as I have improved it. Did you know that you have a hidden “Sister-Self” in your head? - My name is Dick and I hope “You-the-Reader,” are still having a fine day! I am going to tell you an Amazing-Story for which I have much scientific-evidence as provided by the work of the scientists I will mention. I believe that it is the Life-Story of most men and women on this planet. And it is the Personal-Story of You-the-Reader as both a “Total-Person” and as the accepted, “Speaking-Self,” along with your hidden-listening “Sister-Self” who truly acts as your “Study-buddy, “Protector,” and “Guardian-Angel.” You are not alone in your head and how can this be without you knowing? The day you as a Total-Person were born – You-the-Reader, as the future Speaking-Self, existed as a “Child-Proto-Self” in your “Living-Brain” and its intersupported “Total-Mental-System.” Unknown to you and your parents, there was another Child-Proto-Self in there with you, in the other hemisphere. She was the future hidden Sister-Self and yes, it is operationally “She” in both males and females (as in womens-intuition). Both of you, as “Selfs (selves),” could initiate “Behaviors” and trigger negative/protective and positive/acceptive “Emotions.” And whichever one of you, as a “Self “ triggered crying, or smiling, or laughter, would be responded to by your parents and would thus receive early “Individual-Attention.” This went on for the first “Talkless” months of your life. Then your Sister-child-Self started working with you as your-own-self to allow you to learn to speak and it has been proven that without her (from brain-damage) you would have had a terrible-time! But the moment your parents thought you, as a Total-Person, were starting to “Talk,” things changed. Suddenly your “Verbal” abilities and name became all important - Then others started responding to You, the “Speaking-child-Self,” as if you were your Total-Person and the only child-self involved. Your “Sister-child-Self” remained hidden and listening and never was discovered (this may be why so many people unconsciously fear abandonment or rejection). From then on You-the-Reader and other “Human-Talkers” accepted you, the individual Speaking-Self, as your Total-Person and you took “Personal-Ownership” of all that you thought, did, and felt. - But your other hidden Sister-Self was still there and truly became your Study-Buddy, Protector, and Guardian-Angel, with the help of your two unknown “Emotional-Minds”. She has helped you many, many, times and in many, many, ways in the past, at this moment and will into the future. But, never was this “Other-Sister-Self” or the “Other-Three-Minds” discovered, acknowledged, or accepted by scientists, you, or most others. And yes, your Sister-Self and Other-Three-Minds are constantly communicating with You-the-Reader as the Speaking-Self - But you dont know it! You believe that you alone as the Speaking-Self trigger all your Emotions and generate all your Conscious-Experiences. But your Sister-Self can communicate with you by emotions, images, perceptual-experiences (gut-feelings), and in dreams. And all “Four-Minds” can “Trigger” emotions and thus can affect you as a Total-Person. This allows You-the-Reader to experience Mixed-Emotions and Emotions that you do not understand, both originating from your Other-Three-Minds. And you are unknowing communicating back – When You-the-Reader talk to yourself, you are actually “Self-Talking” to your Sister-Self, your Own-Mind and the Other-Three-Minds involved; often to get an Emotional-Response back (somatic-marker). This gives you access to the “Personal-Knowledge” held by your Four-Minds. If your Speaking-Self-I (The I in Self-I stands for identity and I-am) generating “Thinking-Mind” loses its capability to allow you to experience Emotions (somatic-markers), you will have lost most of your “Emotional-Knowledge” about yourself as an individual Total-Person, thus you will tend to make terrible personal-decisions. Your rational-thinking will go to shit. (This happens to some stroke victims) You, as the Accepted-Speaking-Self , were “Educated” in such a way that your individual abilities and strengths based on IQ were brought-out, developed, and praised. Thus leaving your, mine, and everyone elses Sister-Self essentially “Uneducated,” because she was hidden, unknown, and unable to knowing communicate. All IQ based intelligence in split-brain patients has been shown to be in their speaking hemispheres. But I think that the Sister-Self is the source of much of the “Creativity” that the human race has, and if scientists like Elkhonon Goldberg are right, She has been helping you, me, and most others to learn new and novel things all of our lives. What the hidden Sister-Self could do if she were finally discovered, accepted, and truly educated, is, I believe, simply amazing in its possibilities for you, me, the ones we love, and for the whole human race. Here are a few of many things I have scientific-evidence for and believe that support the above Amazing-Story - You as a Total-Person have two “Living-Brain-Hemispheres,” each with its own Mental-System. These two “Mental-Systems” each contain a pair of minds with one “Thinking-Mind-Subsystem” and one interoperating “Emotional-Mind-Subsystem.” You-the-Reader are in the Thinking-Mind in the mostly-left Brain-Hemisphere and she the Sister-Self is in the Thinking-Mind in the mostly-right, Brain-Hemisphere. The idea of the Brain as “living” is very important because it means that there is nothing supernatural about this organ and it obeys the physical-laws of the universe and of chemistry, and of the laws of life and evolution. One Thinking-Mind-Subsystem directly generates You-the-Reader, as the Speaking-Self, inside your own individual Consciousness-Electromagnetic-Field and is the only-mind You-the-Reader can directly Backlay to and thus affect or use (this severely limits both introspection and meditation). You, as the Speaking-Self, are also what some scientists call the cognitive-interpreter, high-road-system, or slow-thinking-system/type-2 “Rider.” Your learning-helper and protective Sister-Self and your Other-Three-Minds, along with the Skilled-habit-Processes in your Own-Mind, make up the intuitive-interpreter, low-road-system, or fast-thinking-system/type-1 “Elephant”. Physically, both you the Speaking-Self and she the Sister-Self are what I call “Experiencing-Self-I” Electromagnetic-Entities. As an “Electromagnetic-Entity,” you both consciously-experience reality for your own Mind-Subsystem and are always part of and contained in your own “Consciousness-Electromagnetic-Field” which acts as a mental-to-reality-interface by “Overlaying” reality and “Backlaying” into your Own-Mind (Qualia are electromagnetic bits of perceptive-information as experienced by an Electromagnetic-Entity and if you think an Electromagnetic-Entity cant do anything, think of an electric-motor or computer). Both of your “Selfs” cannot get out of and dont exit without their Electromagnetic-Fields which are essentially invisible to the other-self and in “Brain-Imaging.” This means that when You-the-Reader sleep, you as the Speaking-Self and she as the Sister-Self go out of exist for that time. When you wake up, back you both come. The “Electromagnetic-Force” is so important in life and in the brains mental-systems because it is the basis of the chemistry of life with its ability to process, store, and replicate information in DNA and the total-nervous-system. I know about the Homunculus and infinite-regression concern, and classical dualism, but the Living-Brain and the Total-Mental-System it intersupports with are actually “Tetra-Systems” of Matter, Electromagnetic-energy, Information, and Life. There is Scientific-evidence for = (1) Two “Brain-Hemispheres” that are interconnected/and-interoperating as information-carrying-material-based and life-based systems - (2) Each with its own “Mental-System” that is a living and materially-intersupported information-carrying-electromagnetic-energy-based system - (3) with Each Mental-System having an Educable “Conscious-I/Thinking-Mind-Subsystem” paired with a Trainable “Emotional-Mind-Subsystem.“ All-Four-Minds receive sensory and perceptual input from inside the body proper and from the outside environment, and can directly or indirectly “Initiate-Behavior” by the Total-Person. All-Four-Minds develop and have their own “Knowledge-Stores” which they can act on by communicating emotionally, perceptively, or by self-talking to the other minds. Except for “Language,” this information also applies to other Animal-Species that have “Twined-Hemispheric” Living-Brains, because this allows Two Conscious-Selves (and in humans two I-ams) in Two different Consciousness-Electromagnetic-Fields and Four different Mind-Subsystems to be on guard as to what is happening internally and in the environment. This means that Emotions were evolved by nature as a multi-node network of internal mental-communications between several minds before there were facial expressions or even social-animals. This is why Emotions are so important to You-the-Reader and everyone else. Now, as a human, when you read a facial-expression of another, you are reading what Emotional-Communications is going on, because of, and between that persons Four-Minds. The biggest difference in Humans is the importance of Language and the fact that only one Experiencing-Self-I (One Identity and I am), one Consciousness-Electromagnetic-Field, and one of the Four-Minds in a Total-Person are known and accepted by the Total-Person, scientists, and others. And You-the-Reader as the speaking “Experiencing-Self-I” are the Accepted-owner, spokesperson, and narrator for your Total-Person. You are also the guesser, interpreter (as the meaning-finder), and arbitrator for your Total-Person. These go along with you also being the director, sequencer and the initiator, willer, and doer of intentional-behavior-sequences for your Total-Person. Thus the other hidden “Experiencing-Self-I” has almost no way to make her individual-presence known. And how was I able to come to the conclusions I have told You-the-Reader, about? Well, I am a 71 year-old man who is possibly one of the most knowledgeable and highly self-educated men in the world. I have read and studied literally 1,000s of books during my life. About 15 years ago I got organized in my Self-Education, and since then I have put in enough time to earn over three college degrees (20,000+ hours) and taken over ¼ million very special short-notes from over 340 books (the number of books for over 8 degrees). This study and research involved many knowledge-domains including many study-fields of science. During this time, I have developed a number of ideas and theories that I believe could help the world and the future children of a 100 years.. I think of myself as a Philosopher-of-Reality and a Generalist! But now, it is time for me to reach-out to other knowledgeable and deep thinkers because only they can help me prove how correct or incorrect my ideas are. I am offering help to get help! To the Dalai Lama, Buddhists, and Meditators - I believe that the Buddha, and many earlier and present day Buddhists, were and are brilliant thinkers and good men. But they, along with You-the-Mediators, are severely limited by not having scientifically based knowledge about their and your own Living-Brain and its intersupported Total-Mental-System. Your present meditative-practices are essentially only calming your own mind-subsystem and very indirectly soothing the other-three mind-subsystems you know nothing about. I believe that this limiting-meditative-practice has to change to allow the educational-development of the other hidden Sister-Self. This is needed because She is directly connected to and interoperates with the Emotional-Mind that is mostly involved with novelty and protective/negative-emotions and I believe She has many other abilities that can be developed to help You-the-Mediators as Total-Persons. I have also sent copies to the following scientists: Antonio Damasio ; Elkhonon Goldberg; Joseph LeDoux; Michael Gazzaniga; Richard J. Davidson; and Steven Lehar. My ideas and theories came from studying their ideas and theories along with studying other scientists work. Over time, I hope one or more will become interested in my ideas and theories, and want to discuss them I know that the men that I am trying to contact are Brilliant, Important, and Busy men who receive untold communications from many, many, people. Thus, I doubt that they will read or even see this message first or directly. You-the-Reader are most likely a time-protector for your friend and possible employer. I would suggest that if this Amazing-Story sounds crazy, impossible, or over your head, scientifically, you contact someone else in your organization that can scientifically-understand what I have written here (The middle part is very, very, Scientifically-Complex and cannot be understood by Skimming it a few times). I still hope that You-the-Reader will pass this second-message on, but if, after a time, I get no communications from anyone with this message, I will continue my efforts, by future-messages, to contact these men who I believe can be open-minded and will try to understand what I am scientifically-proposing.
