Hi, I´m Rodrigo Barahona Valenciano born in the province of Guanacaste, Costa Rica but now a U.S citizen living in Marinette, Wisconsin. My dad or the guy I think of is from Marinette originally but has been living in Costa Rica for many years and has propery there. Many years ago he and an old friend bought a spectacular 150 acre parcel in the foothillls of the Rincon de la Vieja in North Western Costa Rica. Most of the photos show local guys in the process of building a fence to enclose this property. The fence builders are all old friends of mine who know this area like the back of their hands. Although it is accesible by four wheel drive usually we went there by horse back. The property is run through with rivers and springs and fresh water is everywhere to swim in and so clean you can drink it.
