Hi, I might be selling my posh skidder soon so wondering if anyones interested (testing the water lol). Basics - BMW 318is with 2.8 conversion.. Mot til 12/14.. Tax til 10/14 (will have another 6 months if it runs out before i sell).. Chassis has done 103,000 (still using so will go up) engine has done around 10k less.. Engine - has a 2.8 straight 6 out of a 328 at the breakers. Advised it had a head gasket problem so that was changed while the engine was out. Done all of the inlet/exhaust gaskets and oil stem seals because I didnt wanna take any chances! Also has a remapped ecu to raise bhp! Running gear - It has the 2.8 clutch and flywheel still, and is bolted to the original 1.8is running gear. It has a welded diff which has been on the car for the past year or so and never failed. Will throw in a standard diff too. Exhaust - Has a custom exhaust with cat, no middle silencer and a performance back box lol. Steering - have alot of mods to increase lock, steering rack spacers (4mm so is safe for power steering seals), e46 wishbone arms with powerflex conversion bushes, tracking done to extend the track rod ends to meet the wishbone length, adjustable camber top mounts. Exterior - has msport bumpers / sideskirts / front splitter / rear diffuser. Lowered on JOM coilies (always kept clean and copper greased so they dont stick). Tinted yellow headlights. Sat on 8.5j 17 momo arrows (will probably all be electric-ish blue lol). Has one drift dent, noticable and hard to fix, but small.. Comes with some tasteful window stickers too lol. Interior - has a hydro handbrake in the centre console next to the cable handbrake (bled properly!). When I come to sell it, it will have a full set of cream leather front and rear in not too bad condition, rather than the buckets and harnesses. Have a msport steering wheel and gear knob too. Thank you for taking the time to read this essay ;) since the conversion, i have always run the engine on shell v power. I have had no problems at all with the conversion and done many drift days and has always been reliable. I know there are some CHEAP e36s about but id like to think mine was worth a bit more lol. Comment or pm if you would be interested and if you have any questions :)
