Hi IDKA fans. Were getting the next issue of the IDKA Magazine - TopicsExpress

Hi IDKA fans. Were getting the next issue of the IDKA Magazine ready for production in early June. Do you have anything that youd like to share with other Kidney patients? It could be a holiday review, useful ideas for patients or whatever you like. This issue well be focussing on Voluntary roles, for those who feel well enough to be able to spend any free time you may have. It will need to be outside of hospital treatment you may have. We understand that not everyone is well enough to do voluntary work but those that can will gain a great deal of confidence, self esteem, a reason (other than hospital) to get up, especially if youre unable to do a paid role just now. If you wrote an article for the first issue and wish to add any further to it please feel free to write in again. You can either email it: [email protected] or hand deliver any articles to staff of either the Aldeburgh or Ipswich renal units marked for the attention of: Juls Buck Media Secretary IDKA Ipswich Renal Unit Or you can post it FAO: Juls Buck (IDKA Media Secretary) ℅ The Renal Unit Ipswich Hospital, Heath Road Ipswich Suffolk IP1 6AP. Thank you. There will be a flyer out soon for all current dialysis patients at both units. Sorry for the delay in the second issue of the Magazine but our Media Secretary received a transplant a few months ago. He has now recovered enough to re commence his role with IDKA.
