Hi Memphis Area Rescues- does anyone have an adoption event tomorrow that I can tag along with in the Bartlett/Arlington/Lakeland area? I have a young man volunteering for me through tomorrow. He has done all the gritty, hard work of caring for rescued dogs with me and I want to educate him on the OTHER critical side to rescue .......getting them out of storage and in to loving homes! He is a Sr at Bolton and is an enlisted Marine. It is a great way to start him on a lifelong path of volunteering, responsible pet parenting and influencing his friends to do the same. I believe this may be the most important facet to rescue-teaching others that animals are not accessories to their look or coolness factor-they are lifelong family members and you dont throw away family.
