Hi Robert, I wish to bring to your attention an issue at the Galleria area. The road has not been completed and it seems since the government hasnt paid the people whose houses are to be demolished the contractor has left. My greatest concern is how the rich are so insensitive of the poor who are using matatus from Rongai. Imagine the brookhouse school has refused for there to be a stage outside their school and they have even put barriers of their own and as if its not enough they even threaten pedestrians with dogs and tell you to walk on the road and yet there is a lot of space between their fence and the road. They have taken the stage ahead as you go towards KWS and one is expected to alight there and walk in the middle of the road to come back to galleria. Its very risky since its a new road and people drive very fast but we poor who dont drive have no choice. The stage is near Bomas in a bushy lonely area. Can you imagine if you were dropped there at night? Its putting out lives at risk in so many ways. Im not sure who is the politician in charge of that area and i wish you could find out and pass this message. I also feel that matatu users should do a demonstration to raise awareness.
