Hi Thought you might like a little go at answering this one :-) Case Study: Who should have done what here? Driver 1 approaching a roundabout with 5/6 parked cars on the left. These cars are parked almost all the way up to the entrance to the roundabout forcing any cars wanting to enter the roundabout on the wrong side of the road until at the end give way line when there is just enough room to move back over. On the approach to the parked vehicles Driver 1 looks to the roundabout where he sees cars going around it and passing the exit he is approaching. Driver 1 holds back behind the first parked car and looks for any of those cars signalling left to exit. There are no vehicles signalling to exit so Driver 1 continues and overtakes the parked cars that are forcing him onto the wrong side of the road on the approach to the roundabout. As Driver 1 passes two of the parked cars and still observing the other vehicles going around the roundabout. None are displaying a left signal. Almost reaching the end of the line of parked vehicles Driver 1 observes one of the cars (Driver 2) on the roundabout now exiting (without signalling). Driver 2 stops to let Driver 1 continue past the line of parked cars but complains about Driver 1s position on the wrong side of the road. So in your opinion what (if anything) could have been done so this turned out differently? Put your answer in the comments below. Ray :-)
