Hi Tulsa FB friends- Below is a request from my friend Emily Johnson who will be performing in Tulsa Tuesday Nov 18. She needs some people willing to participate, PLEASE contact her directly if you could possibly assist. I wish I was back in town that night, it would be fun to be part! She writes: I am coming to Tulsa to perform Niicugni and I am looking for 30 people from the Tulsa area to join me on stage! Niicugni is a work about paying attention - to the land, to each other, to our ancestors, to all beings - and in a powerful moment at the end of the show, people from the area stand up from their seats in the audience and join us on stage, imagining the ground below the building as one of the dancers tells a story about transformation. People do not need to be performers but do need to be available on these two dates: Saturday November 15th: 12:30 - 2 for Rehearsal at Flyloft: 117 N. Boston Ave. Tulsa, OK 74103 Tuesday, November 18th at 8pm at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center at 110 E. 2nd Street for the show. Please email me at emily@catalystdance to participate!
