Hi all - Im beginning to lose track of the tips Ive shared, so if I start repeating please let me know. :-) Have I told you about the Scale function? Scale is a great tool for shows that move around a bit or for shows where fixture types change frequently. What Scale does is apply a tweak-factor to your recorded levels. You can scale channels below 100% to make them play back at a percentage of those recorded levels (a channel scaled to 50% will play back 35% instead of a recorded level of 70%), or you can scale ABOVE 100% to make channels play back higher than recorded levels (up to a maximum real output of 100%, of course). Channels can be scaled in the Channel List (Browser>Patching>Settings and Tools>Channel List) or by selecting channels and holding the SCALE soft key while running the level wheel up or down. Scaled channels will show a ± symbol next to the intensity to indicate that the output (shown) is not equal to the actual recorded value. The scale % is shown in the info area of the Browser when that channel is selected alone, or press and hold the SCALE soft key to see all scale values in the Live display.
