Hi, all-- looks like, after a period of calm, a new line of storms is gaining energy and crossing the MO border, into the southwest corner of the state. Two damaging tornadoes have already been reported in Baxter Springs, MO at 5:39 PM, close to Joplin (which is also under a Tornado Warning at this time). These storms are a fair distance from even the southwestern edges of Mid-MO, but were not out of the woods yet. Tornado Watches still in effect for portions of our area until 7:00 PM.
