Hi all - question for you! Ive noticed a lot of posts lately about scientific research into autism - mainly rightfully calling out the misleading rubbish in the media, which often doesnt reflect what people in the field are currently saying. Nonetheless, its often the most absurd claims which tend to go viral and cause a lot of confusion and problems for us, and for well-meaning NTs who are reading this stuff in good faith to try to understand us better. Im sure there must be good blogs or websites out there which debunk the myths, but I havent come across any which aim to regularly distil the latest good quality research into a public-friendly format. A non-technical, but accurate, objective, and up to date research digest, based on the latest papers in respected peer-reviewed scientific journals, is the sort of thing Im thinking about. If one exists, could anyone point me to it? If not, do you think people would be interested in reading and/or contributing to one?
