Hi all! Happy Wednesday! I recently posted a recipe for Ricecake soup. I also added a post about replacing dashida (beef stock powder) with fish sauce. One of our readers gave some great alternatives. Please feel free to post any tips or suggestions for recipes. Korean food, for me, will always be a lifelong quest for knowledge. I love to hear about different ways you all cook Korean food at home. Please keep the info coming! Check out @Ji Cho suggestion. Thank you! @Ji Cho Try these alternatives. Grind up dried shiitake mushrooms in coffee grinder to fine powder, add sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder and finely ground white pepper. Use this as a msg/dashida alternative for your meat dishes. Alternate Konbu and anchovy powdered for seafood.
