Hi all! I have for sale a 2006 double registered sorrel Quarter - TopicsExpress

Hi all! I have for sale a 2006 double registered sorrel Quarter Horse mare. She is registered AQHA and NFQHA. Bambi is 97% foundation bred, and has the ability to do English and Western disciplines, as well as be a possible broodmare. She has beautiful conformation, straight legs, a small head, and a great brain. She is maybe about 14.2 hands high, I have to remeasure her. She has superficial scarring on her neck from rain rot that she acquired before I got her. Bambi has stunning movement. She has a trot that is to die for, a well collected canter, and works under herself extremely well. She has a naturally low headset. She is very comfortable to ride. She is quick and light on her feet, never trips. She is not for a beginner. She is sensitive, responds to her rider, and sometimes spooks. When not in a consistent work schedule, she may crow hop when finally saddled again. She gets nervous when unsure of things. But, she has NEVER offered to rear, kick, bite, or bolt, and she has never been sick or taken a lame step. I currently have her barefoot, as she has super strong hooves. She was in professional reining training for about 60 days. She can do sliding stops, neck rein, change leads, and do fast and slow circles. I am going to start her on the barrel pattern.. so at this point she has a clean slate for the next rider. I think she would excel at barrels or gymkhana. I have also jumped her over cross rails, and have free jumped her to 4 with room to go higher. She loves to jump. She also knows how to side pass, turn on the haunches, and turn on the forehand. I dont ride her bareback often, but I have ridden her through the woods bareback with a halter and lead rope with no problems. She has an extremely soft mouth, I ride her in either a french link or bitless when English, or a small correction when Western. She learns faster than any other horse I have worked with. She rides great when in a consistent schedule, and she always comes back better than when I last left off. She always tries 110%. She stands completely still to be bathed, including putting her head down for you to wash it. She loves to be groomed, and she is a huge pet on the ground. Easy to lead around, trailers great even when by herself, and ties. She blankets perfectly. She stands for shots and the farrier. She can ground tie as well. She is a relatively easy keeper. I have taken her to shows with absolutely no difference in her behavior. The only thing she doesnt do is let you clip her. She would make someone an awesome project horse to finish your way, as there are so many possibilities for this little mare. I unfortunately just dont have the time she deserves because I am in college full time now. I love her dearly but she has to find a person who will utilize her abilities. She will go with all her supplements and papers as well. She is well loved and taken care of, and I would love for someone to make a great show horse out of her. She is priced at $6,000 OBRO, in cash. You can message me here on Facebook. I will answer all the questions you have. She is in Winchendon, MA. I can get more pictures of her, I am just attaching the ones I currently have. A great home is a must.
