Hi all. I was diagnosed last year. Ferritin was over 900. Gave 21 pints of blood to get levels down and now in maintenance mode. I have a particularly strong immune system which means my levels seem to increase faster and, despite being a little tired after each venesection, I then feel a massive urge that evening to hit the town and get on it. Does anyone else experience this? Also, how do you manage the vein scar tissue following multiple venesections? Many thanks.
