Hi all! Its been a bit since Ive done an update, so I thought I would share whats been going on. I think my body has finally acclimated to the new, experimental meds. At least, I only have to run to the bathroom a few times a day now :-). I continue to go to Ohio every other week for infusion with a growth inhibitor via IV, and that has given me a lovely rash. Its not as bad on my face as it was, but on my scalp under my growing hair....kind of intense. Great news, thanks to the persistence of my mom, we may be flying to OSU from now on, weather permitting. Mom got connected with a local couple here in Lapeer who would fly us right out of DuPont Airport here to OSUs airport on campus and then wait for my appointments to be over and fly us home. Isnt that awesome? CT scan sometime in January to see how these meds are working on tumors....until then, lots of positive thoughts about good outcomes.
