Hi all! Renting a room in my UES apt for $1200/month (includes internet). Utilities are usually pretty low (especially since Im gone a good portion of the time). Available beginning July 1. Would need someone for at least two months but I have the lease until March so longer works too. Ive attached a few pictures that are admittedly not the best - but Im hoping to show the place on Thursday June 26 :) More About the Apartment: It is located on the UES, 94th btw 2nd and 1st. Utilities are usually pretty low (especially since Im gone a good portion of the time). The room available is a large bedroom with two large windows and a non-working fireplace. Im not sure the pictures do it justice but my old roommate fit a full sized bed (could easily fit a queen), a desk, a dresser and two large wardrobes. There is no closet in the room but there is an empty closet in the living room that is available. The apartment itself is on the fourth floor (walk up) ~ quiet street and quiet building. The apartment is a railroad set up but the bedroom for rent has a separate entrance so there isnt a need to walk through the other one. The living room only has a dining room table at the moment but also has two built in cabinets to store dishes, etc. The kitchen has plenty of cabinet space and full sized appliances and the bathroom is also big with a large cabinet for toiletries/towels etc. More about me: Im the only roommate but this year I have been out of town so much I am rarely in the apartment. I work for a non-profit during the day (mental health field) and teach ballroom dancing at night (mostly NYU students). A friend is staying with me for July but otherwise Im gone probably half of each month so youd have the place to yourself often. Sorry, no cats and NO smoking!
