Hi all, just wanted to graze the site and stop by. Although I dont often post here, I do read everything that is shared in this group. Its gr8 on days like to day knowing I am not the only one. Today was my 5 year check, was weird as the urologist ordered an ultrasound, I dont get CAT or MMRIs any more unless its life threatening, as I have received more radiation in a 2 year span then most will receive over an entire life time but he forgot to order the chest x-ray. I have an awesome doctor who reads the test and sends the doctors the report who comes in after the radiologist runs his test as I am also an FMD survivor that lost my other kidney 2 years ago to FMD and instead of making me wait to go into to see the doctor not only tells me my results right there but shows me pictures of my kidney, Believe it or not, when they removed my other kidney, the kidney they took the cancer from has grown back. Just thought I would share this, it is funny what the body does to heal itself. Any ways it appears I am free from both the cancer and any kidney stenosis that FMD causes. I feel blessed and hope each one of you feel blessed. You are all still here and battling,no matter how hard that battle may be for some of you, stay positive and may everyday be a good day!
