Hi all, update on the situation in Manchester after todays rolling picket in solidarity with Palestine. Between three and five people including comrade Louis Brehony were arrested this afternoon outside Barclays bank, and are being held at North Manchester Divisional HQ, Central Park, Newton Heath. police havent allowed the solicitor access to them The arrests were completely unprovoked and the police were determined to make arrests today to justify their overpolicing and expenses etc. According to the MEN report (manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/four-people-arrested-city-centre-7626100), one is for assaulting an officer. The phone number is 101; on dialing ask for Manchester custody office to be directed to the appropriate place. Comrades are asked to phone up and demand the release of all those arrested.
